Hi
I have noticed a small area of external side wall on my small porch about 2m long has a couple of green lines of very thin of moss along the side.
Its easily rubbed off there is no evidence of damp, the wall is only a couple of years old and in good condition but I have not noticed it before before may be it Goes away up in summer sun?
Its below the DPC as is the Path next too it.

Quick question would it be worth scraping it off with a soft brush (About 2 mins work) and as a precaution putting Some Masonry protection cream on to prevent any future damp issues.
If so is it easy to use?
Thanks

If it is growing moss, it is wet.

On a porch it might be rain coming off the roof.

Take some photos, all the way up to the roof and gutters.

The wall is dry now its only wet when its been raining it dries a little slower as there is a small canopy above stopping sunlight.
Just checked today and it is indeed dry the moss is very slight and drops off easily.
