External cap for 32 (36) mm waste pipe

Hi All

I have a length of 32mm pushfit waste pipe mounted vertically outdoors for a non plumbing application. I am looking for a blanking cap that goes outside the pipe to weatherproof the top.

I can find plugs that go inside fittings or screw onto compression type fittings but this needs to be as low profile as possible mostly for aesthetic reasons and don't wish to use a coupling.

Does anyone have a brilliant idea?

Milk bottle tops break up within 2 months.

Pushfit can't be solvent welded you nincompoop

This doesn't need to be pressure rated so I don't need to solvent weld any suitable glue will do


lots to look at, now I need to check dimensions acurately.

I didn't do the feed back earlier.
I have done the job with s/w tube and the above fitting. It means it's all a bit bulkier but it is a neat option.

Just about to do some more so camr back here to get the link.
