I am rewiring the external controls to an early Greenstar. Honeywell 3-port. MI states
"Note: Honeywell and Siemens Y plan valves require a
capacitor in the external wiring block or wiring centre
to avoid any feedback problems, if there is no other
alternative, please contact Worcester Bosch helpline
08705 266241 for further details."
WB were not very informative when I phoned, save to suggest that transient low voltages from the 3-port might give the boiler's sensitive little electrics a false "on" signal.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to choose and source an appropriate capacitor for this application?
