Finally getting round to replacing this door and frame with a new one, but can't make up my mind as to whether to use frame fixings or concrete screws. Any opinions?

What is the opening that you will be fixing into built from. If it;s brick or block then screws and plugs or frame fixings.

It's blocks. TBH, I would've naturally defaulted to frame fixings - it was just that I read an article suggesting concrete screws as an alternative, which I'd never considered before!

Personal preference because I suspect they would work loose in a door frame that was subject to possible movement when the door was opened and closed

I went with frame fixings and they worked well. They would've been easier to use if I had bought better fixings, but they worked well in principle and I've learnt not to use that particular brand again.

I think the concrete screws would probably work loose, but pretty sure these frame fixings are solid for the long term.
