External handrail removal

I need to remove theses poles but the bases are set into the ground. I can take the sections off the wall but will need to somehow remove the base sections the driveway is concrete. Can anyone advise the best way to remove or cut them. They look like scaffold type poles.

Angle grinder. Cut off.
Wear PPE.
Cover everything around you as the metal sparks will melt surface of glass and plastic uPVC
