Hi I have an late edwardian house with two original gables on the front elevation with black and white cladding (which were constucted from oak and painted).

We want to add matching cladding to the side elevation to cover up some very poorly matched brickwork put in by the previous owners.

What wood should I use? There are going to be 14 panels along the 20m length, I was thinking marine ply but Im not sure what would be best.

Many Thanks

What shape/profile is the existing? Like for like would be best but treated softwood would work ok.

Hi its just simple square cut, What about for the white sections in between the black pieces?

Many Thanks
