We have a slopped bathroom ceiling/wall.

It keeps on getting wet as im a tall and water goes everywhere. Can I use external building paint as surely that must be waterproof?

cheers

You could try Dulux All Seasons Masonry paint as it is oil based and dries in about 20 mins. smells abit but when dry gives a nice surface. I usually use it to paint ceilings that have nicotine stains on them prior to emulsion painting.

As long as it dont get steamy you should be ok...masonry paints contain fungicides which could drip down with steam.

I use them on ceilings that have bene artexed...they have a very slight sheen level which looks nice.

we have a slopped ceiling, and since im tall, i keep on splashing during showers. The present paint is starting to crumble.

so I'm after proper water resistant paint, and thought that external paint would be ideal.. but should i worry about the fungicide element?

Its toxic...give dulux a buzz and ask en..they may have a better solution for you.
