External pipework

Hi,

I have no choice but to run boiler pipework externally for a run of approx 6m for each pipe.

Which is less prone to freezing, copper or poly?

Also what type of lagging would you guys recommend?

both the same, poly may give more when frozen to resist splitting.

Thick water proof and uv proof lagging.

You can frost proof it with a trace heating element.
