I've got a barn-stlye car port, which is covered in a lot of wood that I'd like to re-treat. I like the natural colour, so don't want to use a coloured treatment. The only clear treatment I've seen in the shops is a Cuprinol colourless stain, which is about £25 for a 5ltr can. I think I'll need quite a few litres, so I was wandering if there were any cheaper alternatives that are good for the job.
