Hi there.
I am in need of urgent advice re the fitting of an external door.. to an internal door apature!
what are the regs for this.. must it be fitted with the door the facing outwards! but it is outward into a conservatory.
history - a conservatory was built.. back door was removed, now the house is going to be put up for sale, what are the regs for needing to fit a external door to the old doorway.
1. must it be an external type?
2. must it be facing outwards, i.e. the design of the door being weather proof ( not that this is concern as it in inside the conservatory anyhow)
or can it be fitted facing inward? are there any regs to state which is acceptable for making his conservatory and outside room.
sorry silly question I know, but my friend is about to do this to sell his house and i am trying to find out the regs for him
he wants to fit it facing and opening inward for the layout available and to make use of the space that he has.
