I am running three 50W bulbs from a suitable transformer that only has two output terminals. Can I run the cable from one light fitting to the other or do I need to use junction boxes to split the load. If not, sounds like I need a different transformer with sufficient output terminals to run cable to each light fitting individually. If this is the case and my cable length is 3 metres max do I need to uprate the cable from 1.00mm or 1.5mm to something higher and can I use a combination depending on the fittng's distance from the transformer?

in your case 1mm cable is fine so long as the transformer can deliver 150 watts. it dos not matter how you connect them either loop from one to the other or single cable to the transformer
