extra phone socket

[confused 2]

New property I wanted to add an extra phone socket, I asked the electrician to do this at a late stage, he let in the backbox put on and wired a phone socket connection plate, only problem is I find he has only run the cable into the roof space.
The other sockets appear to be daisy chained together, I can get access to one of the links in the roof, question is could I just split this link and insert a joint to T off for new outlet?.

Hi Confusious, Yes you can just tee it in to the circuit, provided that the cable is one after the main nte5 socket, ie NOT the incoming line.and all sockets are wired the same.
