extraction system for shower

I’ve just fitted a new bathroom suite with a shower and need some kind of extraction to clear the steam. I was going to buy a shower halogen light/fan but the guy I was buying the other bathroom lights from told me that in his opinion they don’t really work.

What would people recommend as a good extraction system for a small bathroom (about 2m x 2m)? Are the combined lights/fans really not worth it?

What evidence did you offer for his observation ? Yes they do work if they are fitted correctly and always worth a few extra £'s for a low db ones.

I fitted a Soler and Palau TD160 in line fan and stuck a manrose shower light wotsit on the end - fantastic!
