I’m currently fitting a new kitchen, I have dug a trench and put a new ring main in, electrician is coming to change the fuse board and connect it all up, just have a quick question on the extractor. We are fitting a bathroom style wall extractor rather than a hood as we are having the hob on the island.
My question is do I continue the ring through a fused switch, and then take a wire from the switch to the extractor? I’m not concerned about a timer or humidistat, just on or off.
