Hi, I've got a Diplomat APP 2520 Extractor Hood and none of the 4 lights are working but the extractor fan is. I've tried the obvious and replaced the halogen bulbs but the lights still don't work. Is there an internal fuse that needs replacing or is it something more serious? Can anyone help please?

What type of bulbs are those. Are they 230volt or 12 volt??.

If they are 12volt then there may be a transformer that powers them.
It could be that or, indeed, there may be a fuse. I'm not familiar with that specific extract.

Edit:
I just googled spares for your model . (Google is very good, you should try it ;))

There is a "FUSE 630MA 240V 5X20MM "
at http://www.apart4u.co.uk/cooker-hood-parts/fuse-630ma-240v-5x20mm.html

which may be the thing.

You'll need to find the fuse in your hood first and test it with an ohm meter. If its gone try a replacement - but only the correct one. You will probably be able to get one at Maplin, RS, or online.

Hi, thanks for reply, the bulbs are 12v 20w halogen.

Brilliant, I'll get n see if I can find where the pesky thing (fuse) is located!
