Extractor Hood

Ive been looking at Kitchen Stainless Steel extractors with chimneys on websites, none have spec for the length of the chimney and i would like it to reach the cieling, would anyone know if i would be stuck with extra cost for an extension piece after purchase.

My cielings are 8ft

have found some specs on sites but they do all differ.... some by 40cm better off going to B&Q tomorrrow.
