F1 2026

I can see you now, sat in your string vest all stained from your gravy and chips knawing on a kebab with your one tooth and swearing at everyone.

I used to watch F1 with my father as a little kid so always have a passion for it.
I am not sure about these 50/50 leccy cars I hope now they weigh less they are more nimble and able to follow closer
What I do not like is reading Verstrappon not happy about having to drive off throttle a percentage of the lap to actually go faster.

I suppose it's a bit like when they had fuel limits and drivers had to manage their consumption.

I prefer it flat out.

Been to 2 races

1992 Silverstone
2023 Abu Dhabi

Both were great for very different reasons

This year could be very interesting

Went to watch formula 3000 a few times as a kid...

Probably the thing I hated most was when they had different tyre manufacturers.

Some years, a car could be up to two seconds a lap slower simply because they had the wrong tyre manufacturer. It didn't matter how good the chassis, engine or driver was.

A level playing field is better I agree.

There’s so many good drivers at the min. I’m going to say Kimi will do well this year, he’s so fast when he puts it all together

Try the Silverstone classic, generally 2 weeks after the British Grand Prix. Exciting short racing approx 20 laps, classic cars, old f1 cars, E types, Ferraris, classic minis. Great weekdns racing and lots of old cars on display, food, beer and music.
