Dear All,

I have a garage which consists of an original garage and an extension that was built some years later.

The facia board on the original garage is 20mm wood and I believe the facia board on the extension is 22mm bullnose facia board. I have attached some photographs.

The paint on the original garage facia board is flaking but the wood is sound. I would appreciate a link to a 'cover over' type facia board that can be applied to the existing facia board wood but looks as close to the 22mm bullnose facia board as possible. Importantly there is a large bush where the join will be (between the original garage and the extension) so the 'inline' or 'in plane' joint will not be visible.

Many thanks

Paul

The 9mm version of that jumbo fascia is called Hockey nose, or hockey stick as we used to say. If you google hockey nose renovation board it might be a close match.

Why not paint the original if the wood is sound? Painting is basic property maintenance. Start covering wood up with plastic, and you can guarantee it won't be sound for long
