No neither of you have answered the question. I don't think this one is as simple as the politicians make out.
I have already answered not directly but more than either of you.
The last politician I believed was Michael Foot. The rest from then lie and you can tell that when their lips move.
How we address that we remove the career politicians who are only in it for themselves is the real issue. Transparency would be a start. If she had advised of her past then not tried to blame her lawyer as an injustice then it would all be in the past. Nobody is perfect after all.

The train driver I know is on much much less than that which is a figure that covers overtime and unsocial hours. More than a newly qualified pilot gets.

It's incredible for her to run with the "I didn't know anything about the fraud/theft investigation from my employer". So the one almost proper job she had, didn't end well.
She said the matter was a 'genuine mistake' from which she 'did not make any gain'. She pleaded guilty to fraud by misrepresentation after a probe by her then employer, insurance giant Aviva.
No gain - because she was caught.
