I have just replaced the plasterboard to re-tile my bathroom and have taken the opportunity to fit an FCU on the outside wall that feeds a hard wired pull cord fan heater inside the bathroom.
My question is, is there any harm in fitting a flex outlet plate in the bathroom to supply the fan heater or should I just run a cable straight from FCU to the heater through a hole in the tiles. The heater is well away from bath and basin by the way and about 60cm from ceiling.
