Hi.i have standard 4 inch wall fan fitted in ahower room.fan seems to be too small as room is big size.i wonder if i could fit a bigger size fan onto same oppening.if it is possible then whats max size which can be fitted into this standard siza wall oppening.thanks.
You would need to measure cubic volume of room to calculate/select a suitable fan size. It is more than likely that the ventilation hole will need to be increased, but providing the electrical part of the circuit was done correctly originally then that would be reusable.
Also the type of fan will have a bearing on its efficiency.
Generally a centrifugal fan will shift more air than an axial fan, but there is a physical limitation on the amount of air you can get down a 100mm duct.
The length of the duct will also have an effect.
