Looking at fitting a Single Room Heat Revovery exctractor in my bathroom and tryiong to decide on models at the minute.
Will be fitted on a wall direct to outside, which will possibly be in a Zone2 area of the bathroom (shower and floor etc is not in place yet so cant be 100% on that, (Zone 2 at worst, possibly outside this area (zone3))
Fan spec is, IPX4 - 230v - 25w - 0.2A
The spur for the fan will be in an accessible cupboard above the bathroom door (on the outside of the bathroom) The supply cable (currently 1.5mm off a 6A RCBO Lighting radial)
Only real question is, can the SELV transformer for the fan be sited outside the bathroom with the spur supplying the fan with a 1.5mm T+E cable of about 4 meters SELV from the compartment. The fan instructions dont give a max run or cable size for the Low Voltage cable from the transformer to the fan.
