Fan on Oven

Hello all

My Fan on my Bosch Oven is continuosly on even the have done no cooking since yesterday.

Any ideas?

Light not on and everything is on off. Don't even think we have a defrost mode

My Zanussi fan oven has a high limit thermostat which has a constant live feed.....when this stat fails, the fan runs constantly despite the main selector switch being off. Maybe worth investigating with a multimeter.

I think I've found the problem.

This is the fan at the top of the oven that is continusly on.

To the right of this is what I think is a switch.
Grease from the hob has got in and amougst this piece forming a continuity between the white cables with a green sleeve.

If I remove one of the white cables, the fan will stop.

So if I hit a new fitting that I think is a switch could this fix my problem
