Hi,

Hoping someone could provide me some tips on this...over the last 2-3 months I have found that the shower temperature has dropped to luke -warmish temperature. We are using a Triton mixer that is fed by mains pressure on the cold & the hot comes from our ideal isar HE-24 (yeah I know). Today I set the ideal Isar to max for HW & used a regular thermometer to measure the hot tap closest to the boiler and got a 40-45 C reading, on the tap in bathroom it was late 30C and the best I can get out of the triton is just under 35 C (should be able to do 38 C on the defualt setting). Just wonder if there any other tests I could use to further faultfind this? Looking at the Triton website it does mention checking that the HW pipes for blockages but that seems unlikely as the flow to the bathroom tap seems the same as ever. I have just refilled the combimate as a precaution against scaling building up. Is there any general checks I can make on the boiler before I call British Gas?

cheers

Adam

Check filters on the shower inlets. Quite possibly blocked up with crud, restricting water flow into the shower.
