FAULTY DANFOSS TRV?? OR FIXABLE??

Hi,

Have Danfoss TRV bi-directional (I think) fitted vertically onto flow side or radiator.

When this valve is on the frost setting the radiators comes on. Other rad's in house ar on this setting and don't come on. This happens obviously happens when not that cold either.

Any ideas appreciated.

A max / min thermometer placed in the room, not too close but at a similar level to the valve; could tell you if theres a fault with the actuator head. Often they are designed to come on when the room temp is below 8C
I'd allow another 2ºC on that for manufacturing error.
