faulty switch????

I had some stainless steel light switches from screwfix fitted in mi kitchen and every now and again i can feel a slight tingle from one of them from the casing on the back of my hand, is the switch faulty or the wiring??

the light works fine by the way

Probably the wiring, especially if the place was wired some years ago. Earthing requirements for lighting have changed over the years so what might have been acceptable when it was wired/rewired is no longer good enough. You need to either make sure there is earth continuity from the switches to the consumer unit or revert to plastic switches.
