Hi Chaps. i'm building the mother-in-law a new door canopy: Just like the old one (see pic). I'm good with the construction, but do not have a clue about the felting that goes on top. Could someone give me a few pointers re.:
The cheapest way/minimum materials required.
How to "flash" or seal against the wall.
How to overlap the wood on the canopy, leaving a little gap, but still making sure it's fixed.
How to make the outside corners.
I have spent time on Youtube etc, and searching the net, but nothing I have found helps very much.
