I had a “shed” installed last year and the roof edge and fascia have been installed incorrectly meaning the fascia boards have started to rot already and is penetrating the timber structure due to rain seeping behind the timber
My plan to repair was to remove the wood fascia, replace with a uPVC fascia but finish the top edge (on three sides - the last will have guttering attached ) with uPVC raised edge trim.
The question is, can you combine the felt roof system with this trim (as it’s advertised to be used with a rubber roof system)? Or does anyone know of a similar product for felt roofs).
I really don’t want to have to replace the full roof if I can avoid it. The fascia alone is coming out at £250 (this trim a further £140) and to replace the felt to rubber will be a further £700
