Looking at buying a log cabin for the garden, which comes with a felt roof as standard. However, the company also do felt shingles which are half price at the moment - are these shingles worth the extra money? Or will the normal felt do a good enough job?

Thanks in advance for any advice,

Hi,

Roofing felt if a heavy duty i.e. 38kg not thin stuff is guaranteed for 5yrs but will last for easily 10yrs or felt tiles/shingles are guaranteed for 15yrs but will last 25yrs so up-to you pluse felt tiles are more pleasing to the eye.

hope this helps.
