Fence posts 'sway'

Hi folks,

Got a little wondering, maybe someone can help me out....

I'm in the process of putting up a 30' length of fencing, consisting of 6'x6' lap fence with 3"x3"x8' posts. Posts in place with postcrete to a depth of between 20"-24". Problem is that I seem to still get a bit of sway at top, not much I suppose, but maybe 1/2" off the vertical from side to side. Is this normal? Should I expect a post of this height to 'give' a little, or is my foundation, i.e. the postcrete suspect?

If the general opinion is that the posts should be 'rock solid' with no movement, then can anyone offer any ideas about strengthening them? I have thought about bracing one side with an additional 6' (buried 2' deep, with 4' on view) post with some fastners onto the fence post that sways, or possibly a downward angled wooden brace possibly concreted in also.

Any thoughts on this, or any thoughts on whether I should bother, maybe I'm just a bit over cautious.

Thanks for reading!

Look at the trees.
They move a lot in the wind.
Trees that dont go with the flow break.
Any wooden structure should have some natural movement.
A panel fence is like the sails on a ship with the posts as the masts.
They would move less if they were not so air tight but had gaps to let the wind through them.
Try clamping an 8' fence post down at one end then put your weight down on the other end.
It will bend slightly yet the wind is a lot stronger than any man.
