building a fence,, 110ft long. 85ft along there are steps and the ground rises abuot 1.5 ft.

my idea is to use metal spikes, 5 ft fence panels. only problem is there is a hedge behind it (next doors) will this hedge eventuially push against and ruin the fence?

also was going to just use a plum line to get the line,,, push spikes in and start erecting from one to end along to the other.

where the ground rises,. am just going to get shorter panels to continue the same height along top of fence all thew way down.

obviously kickboarda along the bottom,,

can anyone see any issues with my plan here??

thx

yep, met posts are ****e and wont last. concrete them in. Panels come in 1 foot stages so you wont get one to cover the 1.5 feet variance
