fernox boiler silencer

hello everyone,
my boiler(glow worm) is been noisy for the past few weeks and want to put in some fernox silencer.
the problem is i am not sure how to get it into the radiator.the rad is a radson double radiator.
do i turn both sides of the radiator off?
 
what model boiler is it? the noise may have an underlying cause/fault. Boiler noise silencer is for kettling only.
