Got back from 10 days away and my CH isn't working. That is we are not getting any heat to the registers and the CH Pipe Out isn't hot. I have 1.5 bar showing. The CH valve is open. My Therm is set all the way up. BUT, the boiler just won't fire up for CH.

Any help any one? Please.

It sounds as the boiler has a fault.

I would suggest the venturi/APS as I think that the sensors give a fault light and you dont mention one.

I expect you need a professional but we are a little busy at the moment.

Thank you for the prompt response. I'm looking at LEDs 1 - 5 and don't see any faults that I can recoginize. I don't know how to check the relays to confirm.

The only LEDs show are 4 and 5, CH Demand and Power On.

What or where should I be looking for this fault?

Does the boiler operate normaly when you turn the hot water tap on?

Could be pump, listen for it.
If not pump it could be fan/aps, listen for fan.
If it runs in hot water mode it will not be fan/aps.

Anyone interested in wager, :D .

The Hot Water is fine and heats as it should. Just doesn't ignite the boiler when it switches to Central Heat.

Hope fully a part won't be needed meaning another cold night for the kid.

Shall See and I will let you know what the answer turns out to be.

I assume that you are really waiting enough time for the anticycle delay to time out?

Like at least 15 minutes to be sure???

Tony

Check th flow thermister on the left.

Also by now (if its on its first set) the board(s) are playing up with broken joints.

The pump is out apperantly... So, he order one and hopefully replace it tomorrow. I'll keep you updated.

If there's no flow these normally sit there, boil the water and make one hell of a noise.

Thanks everyone for the help. It turns out the plug into the pump wasn't in well.

LOL, all fixed at a cost of course.
