Ferroli Modena 80E needing hot water please help!

Moved into a new house recently, cannot for the life of my work out what is wrong with the boiler.
It has a dodgy timer connected to it from previous owners, and have only just got that working correctly, however, hot taps will not run hot water, and only works certain times of the day, even though its a combi-boiler and when hot taps turned on during the specified time on the timer.

When it does run though, it will either work during the allotted time or the gas flame will go on and off during for example a shower. any help??

I have downloaded the manuals, for both timer and boiler, and nothings working.

with out checking it, it sounds like a water flow switch. These boilers dont have a divertor valve it works like a multipoint it heats the water up directly tho the heat exchanger not indirectly of the central heating water. so as long as the central heating is on you will get hot water untill you get the boiler repaired.
