Boiler will only ignite if positive air pressure tube leading to air pressure switch is removed from sealed chamber. The boiler will then ignite and operate normally if tube is reconnected to nossle under chamber. Air pressure is new and fan can be heard operating at both idle and high speed. All diagnostic led's idicate no problems.Ferroli technical say it is fan however is appears to be running perfectly.

Any ideas?

Any experienced corgi engineers with Ferroli Optima experience in Berkshire as i cannot find anyone.

Its probs is the fan. I had the same problem last week on a landlords property.

Changed the APS and it made no difference so i threw a fan in and happy days.

Whilst it just might be the actual fan, if it turns freely it may just be the impellor is very dirty and can be made to work by cleaning it and adding a little light oil on the motor bearings.

CORGI job working inside combustion chamber unless competent.
