Hi All
Can anyone assist with this problem on my ferolli boiler.
I think I had a leak in the system and used a leak sealer to cure this. Seems to have worked ok as the pressure now holds.
During the cold spell I turned the radiator temp up on the boiler to 70 c.
The pressure fell almost overnight, so I topped it up and it dropped off again overnight. I turned the temp back down to 55 c and topped up the system again and the pressure seems to be holding ok with perhaps a slight drop over a few weeks or more.
The system pressure seems to hold ok when set to 55 - 60 C or lower. When I turn the temp up above this the system pressure falls off almost overnight.
Could this be a leak in the system and the sealer won't cope above 60 c or could there be another fault such as a PRV. No water is leaking from any visible pipes, drain valve or the boiler. I live upstairs in a conversion and my downstairs neighbour has not reported and water ingress.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
