Few trees in hedge not happy

Hi all,

Have a 1yr old Hornbeam hedge. However some of the trees have started going very brown, starting to look like they're dying if I'm honest.



Just wondering what peoples opinions are, and what I can do?

It looks very dry. The trick with watering new plants is to put enough water on them so they don't peg out but not too much. You need the roots to go down to find water. Then you won't need to water any more, otherwise the roots stay near the surface and the poor plants will be on life support for ever.
