Fiat Punto stereo code

T plate. New battery just fitted and I have the four digit stereo code, I usually fumble through inputting it and everythings okay.However since the last time I done this the LCD display is knackered but the stereo/cassette itself works fine.

Can anyone provide blow-by-blow instructions (or link) on how to input the code as I will be doing it 'blind'. This will save me the cost of a new one (albeit from a scrappy)

Have you tryd ebay?? radio cassettes are peanuts these days or even upgrade to cd player.

Thanks for taking the time to reply.I thought nobody cared.
I picked up a receipted replacement for a tenner at said scrappy, it didn't work as aerial connection was nae use.Shouldn't be a problem getting another one.Just in case someone had a quick answer.
