fiat stilo service

I have a fiat stilo and the light inside the car comes on everytime put key in and says service due i have paid last 2 years but it is really expensive my friend said they will do it all but doesnt no how to stop the service light appearing apparently there is a way off turning it off
does anyone know how

I have looked in my oldish (2001) autodata book and it doesn't show how to do it on Stilo, but all the others seem to use a similar method.
1. switch ignition off
2.press button on dash and hold.
3. switch ignition on
4. keep pressing the button for 10 seconds. the display will now read 0 and the "spanner" symbol will go out.

It's worth a try. hope this helps
