Fiesta 1.3 mk4 gearbox leak and brake shoes

Hi just took my car to a mechanic to have the brakes, wheel bearing and whining noise checked (see my last post - thought it might be the aux belt). However apparently the belt is fine and the endura engine is noisy anyway. Wheel bearings were all fine although I think I can hear some creaking/clanking noise on rear passenger side, will mention that tomorrow, unless it's in the car itself. Rear brake shoes need replacing and apparently the gearbox is leaking oil. Quoted £126 to have the shoes replaced, gearbox oil changed and gasket resealed. Is this a decent price? And what would happen if the gearbox situation was left? Cheers
