Hello,

Would I be OK to fill a chase will plasterboard adhesive (I have some spare) and then use Easi Fill for the very top? The cables have a plastic covering on them so I'm not sure if that causes any problems. Would I need to tape the join between the plasterboard and the filled chase?

I was hoping to use some plasterboard to cover the chase then tape the joints but it wont sit flush on the cables...

Thanks,
Andrew

Seen it done, but don’t think many people consider it good practice.
Bonding, cut back a couple of mill, 2 coat skim is how I’d do it . Partly cos I don’t like easifill and dust
