Hi,

Has anyone heard of a method of filling cracks in sanded wooden floors using some sort of string or rope? I have heard of someone using this to great success but am unable to find out anything about it?

Cheers

It sounds like the caulking system used on boats with wooden decks. If it's traditional the "string" is actually oakum.
