I'm replacing a 1700mm bath, the recess is actually about 1720, tiled down to the floor, and not square.
How would you normally fill this 20mm (or so) gap? I'm thinking of installing the bath so the gap is at the shower end, as because of the non-squareness I'm going to have to do something there anyway, and fixing a batton to the wall that I could then put strips of tile on, and unibond between wall-strips and strips-bath?

The tile strips would have to be pretty flat and level with the bath, as I also have a shower screen to fit.

Thanks for any advice you can offer!
(By the way, the old bath installation had a piece of PVC (part of a windowframe?) unibonded at 45 deg between wall and end of bath.
