Filling Gaps Around Skirting and Architrave

I'm replacing some skirting and architrave around my house with the modern Torus type.

I'm going to get lots of small gaps around the doors where my walls are not square what is the best gap filler to use that will fill 2-3mm maybe 4mm gaps which once painted will look perfect?

ICI 1st Decorators Caulk

There are others but don't seem to be anywhere near as good as ICI, very easy to use and wipe it off with a wet spounge. Approx £1:80 a tube
