Hi,

I've put up new wall cabinets and am not sure of the best way to fill the gaps left where the wall isn't perfectly true. I'm thinking: caulk then painting it or clear silicone....

Idease please!

acrylic caulk would be best its easy to overpaint, dont use silicone as paint will not go over it! put some masking tape down the units apply caulk as neatly as possible then remove the tape before the caulk dries.
remask before painting over the caulk and again remove masking before paint dries as it can pull off the paint if its dry! its worth doing to get a nice finish to your units.
hope this helps.
