Filling in a wall...

Hey, I randomly found a stud wall in the middle of the party wall, i took it out as we are going to be hanging kitchen units on the wall so figured it would be best to have a solid wall...

Just wanted to know what people think would be best to fill it with?! It's 3 inches deep, floor to ceiling and about 2 metres wide.

what's the rest of the wall made of?

You can get engineering bricks that a 65mm bedded sideways.

behind the stud is just bare brick and either side is brick with 10mm plasterboard...

Well you've removed the stud, can understandwhy it was there in the first place could be previous diy sos, unless at some stage the two properties where of the one.
I'd copy what is already in place.
