Hey guys,

A contractor has accidentally drilled a deep hole of roughly 15 - 17 inches deep into my bedroom wall. The hole is around 1/4 of an inch wide. Can you provide any advice on the best way to fill this and whether there could be any potential problems which may arise in the future? The hole is quite close to the exterior of the house. All input would be greatly welcomed.

Thank You!

You cant really see much from the photo it literally looks like a drilled hole in the wall. The picture doesnt gauge the depth of the hole itself.

squirt some caulk in it. a 1/4" hole is nowt worth worrying about.

15"-17" deep! what are your walls made from anyhow?

Well it is a terraced house and the wall is quite deep connecting to the neighbours. I am not sure what the wall is made of. It looks quite crumbly though.

oooooh i see.

peeping tom next door eh... nudge nudge... ooo er misses..

aye, squirt some caulk in it. ;)

Why not get the contractor to fill it in he made the darn thing.
