Hello,

I'm in the process of insulating and boarding the garage ceiling with foil backed plasterboard. I've started at one corner and fitted the first line square to the joists. As the side wall is not square to the joists there is an increasingly sized gap approx 10cm over the 5.2m length.

There is no access from underneath to patch it up as it's covered by a roller shutter cover and frame which I don't want to remove.

What's the best way to proceed? Just cover with foil tape?, glue some plasterboard foil to foil from the top? something else?

Here's what I'm talking about. I can't patch it up from underneath.

i have an idea but i dont know if its viable or not, you still have access from above right? and you cant get at it from underneeth? can you fix a noggin from above with pre attached plasterboard on it? so screw the plasterboard to the noggin and then fix noggin? will that work? as the picture dosent tell me much

Thank for the reply Steve. Yes I have access from above only. Fixing some plasterboard to a batten which in turn screws to the wall plate is about the best idea I can think of too.
