filling problem on washer machine

hi guys,

received a call for help on a hoover optima megaload washer machine, what im informed is during filling all the water floods outa the filling draw and does not fill the drum.
any ideas welcome, im thinking blockage on the hose but welcome ideas from experienced servicemen

Usually if it happens during the fill then blocked jets/dispenser drawer/hose

If it is leaking out of there because the machine is overfilling then check the pressure switch and pipes for blockages/holes/sticking
