I have just used a new roll of scrim from travis P today and it is rubbish - not sticky at all.

I now want to fill this scrim so i dont have problems when i plaster.

What do you use to fill ?

normal on a roll. about 40-50mm wide i think.

I have seen that you can use easyfill to do all the gaps so will give this a go.

have you used taperd edge boards? is this what you mean if so just dub out with plaster, if not what sort of gaps are we talking about filling?? wide ones between boards where they dnt meet properly??

How long have you had the scrim tape? are the boards dusty?

Fill? The boards should be close butted; I just give the tape a quick scrape over with Multi, forcing it into the mesh, before I skim!

The boards are next to each other and are not tapered, but some have larger gaps of 5mm in places.

This is an attic and so cuts around the purlins are hard to get right. Hence i have bigger gaps here.
